Endocrinology

Endocrinology is the medical specialty in charge of the study of the normal function, anatomy and disorders produced by alterations of the endocrine glands, which are those that release their products into the bloodstream (called hormones).


Endocrine glands are the following: pituitary, thyroid, parathyroid, pancreas, sex glands (ovaries and testes) and adrenal glands.
