Buttock prosthesis
It is an intervention that consists in the placement of silicone implants under the gluteal muscles in order to increase the projection of the buttocks.
The technique is performed through a small incision at the level of the Inter gluteal fold.
The implants that can be used are round or anatomical in shape. The type and size of the implant is selected according to the physical characteristics of each patient and the type of results desired.
Local anesthesia with sedation is administered.
There are other techniques that can be used to increase the volume of the buttocks, such as buttock augmentation with the patient's own fat:
Liposuction is performed from other areas where there is excess fat such as flanks, abdomen, thighs and, after preparation of the fat, separating the liquid part from the solid, cleaning it and infiltrating it into the buttock area.
The infiltrations can be repeated every 6-8 months due to the partial reabsorption of the infiltrated fat.
