Closed Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Closed MRI

The closed MRI is applied in a tube-shaped machine in which the patient enters lying on a stretcher, so that it is much easier to concentrate the entire magnetic field. Thanks to this, the results that can be obtained with this procedure are more precise and reliable, since they are also obtained with better definition and greater depth.

This type of MRI is mainly indicated for the analysis of certain types of pathologies and diseases, which cannot be identified in such detail with open MRI.

In certain cases, for the patient's safety, in a closed MRI it is also possible to place a monitoring device to control the patient's breathing and heart rate.

In our Affidea Medicentro Leganés center we have closed MRI.
