QDiagnostica will manage the new Diagnostic Imaging Service at Mi Tres Torres

Barcelona, September 20, 2016. - The healthcare group QDiagnóstica, a leading company in diagnostic imaging, and the Mi Tres Torres clinic (www.mitrestorres.com) have reached an agreement whereby QDiagnóstica will from now on be in charge of managing the Diagnostic Imaging Service of the clinic.

In order to face this management, QDiagnóstica is committed to remodeling and humanizing the diagnostic imaging areas. In the coming weeks, the Service will incorporate two new pieces of equipment: a new Computerized Axial Tomography (CAT) machine and a high-field Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). The installation of this new equipment has already begun and it is expected to start operating during the months of October (CT) and November (MRI).

This new CT has an excellent image quality, with minimum dose, with which it will be possible to reconstruct in 3D all the anatomical areas to be studied. It will have a gantry opening of 72 cm, to avoid anxiety problems in claustrophobic patients, and maximum spatial resolution to be able to make the most precise diagnoses in neurology, oncology and traumatology.

Regarding the new MRI, it is a high-performance equipment with silent sequences and coils integrated into the couch for greater patient comfort. It will have advanced diagnostic applications for traumatology (Cartigram), for women's health (coil and software applied to breast pathology), and for neurology (tractography or DTI (Diffusion Tensor Imaging)).
