One of the main advantages that Digital Mammography is going to bring to patients is that it considerably improves breast imaging, allowing an increasingly earlier diagnosis of smaller tumors, providing better treatment and greater possibility of cure.

All this with a lower radiation dose, since the digital detector is much more sensitive than a conventional plate.

Another added value is that with the installation of the new digitalized equipment, images can be obtained immediately and can be stored, located and adjusted by the radiologist.
