International Day of Radiology

On November 8 we celebrate the International Day of Radiology and, from Affidea, we want to recognize the work of the entire team of radiology professionals that make up our company.

This day is celebrated with the aim of raising awareness of how radiology contributes to patient care and the role of its professionals.

The organization of this day is a joint initiative of the European Society of Radiology (ESR), the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) and the American College of Radiology (ACR), later joined by other societies and organizations, including SERAM.

For 2018, Cardiac Imaging has been chosen as the main theme of the day, to highlight the role that Imaging professionals play in the detection, diagnosis and treatment of heart disease. Hence, the significance of the photographs with the symbol of the heart in the hands.
