Campaign for early detection of breast cancer in Castilla y León

Q Diagnóstica, a leading company in Diagnostic Imaging, with significant presence in Castilla y León, as well as in other Autonomous Communities, has been awarded by the Regional Health Management (SACYL) to carry out the management of the Early Detection of Breast Cancer program, for the performance of Mammograms in Mobile Units.

This campaign will have its scope of application in 43 basic health areas of Castilla y León, placing these Mobile Mammography Units in the main towns of the provinces of Ávila, Burgos, León, Salamanca and Zamora, trying to cover the largest number of localities that do not have access to fixed facilities for this type of tests.

It will start on May 1, 2016 with an initial duration of 2 years.

These tests will be performed on approximately 28,300 women in the ages established by the SACYL program during this biannual period.
