Affidea Clínica Tecma prepares new equipment to innovate radiodiagnostic service
The Alzira (Valencia) center starts investing in a new high-resolution CT scanner, a mammograph with 3D technology and the renovation of conventional radiology equipment.
The expansion of the clinic's facilities is also planned to increase the number of consultation rooms and spaces dedicated to specialized medical units.
Madrid, September 13, 2022-. The Affidea healthcare group, following its recent acquisition of Clínica Tecma, is preparing new investments to equip the Alzira (Valencia) medical center with the most innovative and cutting-edge technology in the radiodiagnostic service. Specifically, this investment will enable the incorporation of a high-resolution computerized axial tomography (CAT) scanner with 128 slices, a mammograph with 3D technology, which improves the overall breast examination experience, and, in turn, the complete renovation of the conventional radiology equipment.
The work, which will be completed before the end of the year, began in August in order to expand the care coverage for each patient.

For Sergio Ruiz, manager of the Tecma Clinic, this important investment means "increasing healthcare coverage by including new radiological tests and examinations such as CT or 3D mammography". He also states that the objective is "to continue improving and growing in the service we offer to all patients on a daily basis with this new integration in the equipment". On the other hand, Ruiz emphasizes that "the entire management team at Clínica Tecma is highly motivated and committed to the new project".
