DESCRIPTION

Conventional Radiology is a technique that can be used to observe the body’s internal structures. The X-rays emitted by the machine pass through the body in an inverse proportion to the tissue density producing an X-ray film image.

EXAM PREPARATION
  • In some cases, the patient will be instructed to come for the exam on an empty stomach or to take contrast either orally or via injection.

    Your doctor will give you instructions for the preparation previous to the exam.
